PREVIEW: Easy task for AC Milan - even without strikers

Serie A leaders AC Milan will be without their leading strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexandre Pato when they visit strugglers Brescia Saturday evening.Sweden's Ibra was on target Wednesday in a 2-2 draw against Palermo in the Italian Cup, but is suspended for two more league games, while Pato is out with a muscular injury for a couple of weeks.

Antonio Cassano, who was not particularly impressive against Palermo, is to play alongside Brazilian Robinho, the Devils' third best scorer on 11 goals, with Ibra and Pato on 14 each.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri, whose side has a six-points lead at the top, also misses goalkeeper Christian Abbiati and veteran Alessandro Nesta in defence, while international playmaker Andrea Pirlo is close to full recovery from a lengthy absence.

Allegri seemed pleased with the home draw against Palermo, who in March beat Milan 1-0 in the league, but conceded that his men "played at an unsteady pace."

Brescia are desperate in second-from-last position and will rely on their towering tall 10-goal striker Andrea Caracciolo.

Chasers Napoli, meanwhile, slipped a further three points behind Milan as a 2-1 home defeat to Udinese last weekend closed a run of four straight wins.

"Milan have an advantage of six points, five games from the end," Napoli goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis said. "It is quite a good lead, we must be fair. Within the group, we are all aware of it."

De Sanctis said that Saturday afternoon's visit at Palermo "will be a very difficult game, but we have always reacted after a defeat and we hope to do it also at the (Renzo) Barbera."

A crucial tie pits champions Inter Milan against Lazio as they vie for third-place, which grants access to the next Champions League without going through a qualifying round.

The Rome guests are without Romanian defender Stefan Radu, whose season has ended after suffering a broken vertebra, while there is a question mark over Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o, who might miss the game with a sprained ankle.

Udinese are one point behind Lazio as they welcome lowly Parma, Roma take on Chievo in a noon game after losing 1-0 to Inter in the Italian Cup and Juventus close the round late Saturday away to Catania.

Cagliari and Fiorentina face off at mid-table and bottom side Bari host Sampdoria, who slipped into the three-team drop zone after six defeats and two draws.

Bologna and struggling Cesena play a regional derby and Genoa welcome troubled Lecce.
