Figure skating-U.S. duo Davis and White dazzle on Moscow ice

MOSCOW, April 30 (Reuters) - American ice dancing duo Meryl Davis and Charlie White shocked favourites Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir to capture their first world figure skating title on Saturday.
Davis and White, who finished second behind Canada's Virtue and Moir in both the world championships and the Olympics last year, came from behind to clinch the
gold with a breathtaking free programme.
The Canadians, competing for the first time this season after Virtue underwent surgery on a leg injury last October, had to settle for silver.
American siblings, 16-year-old Maia and 20-year-old Alex Shibutani, who were fourth after Friday's short programme, leapfrogged Nathalie Pechalat and Fabian Bourzat of France to snatch bronze by 0.25 points on their world championship debut.
The European champions, in third place going into the free programme, lost their chance for a medal when Bourzat slipped and fell during the diagonal step sequence midway through their routine.
