Leverkusen prepare for Heynckes exit

Bayer Leverkusen are preparing to lose coach Jupp Heynckes at the end of the season, possibly to Bayern Munich.
Leverkusen chief executive Wolfgang Holzhaeuser said Monday the club had already been speaking to several coaches in the event that 65-year-old Heynckes decided
against staying at the club.
Heynckes has delayed extending his contract which is set to expire at the end of the season, and now says he will make a decision after Sunday's home match against Schalke 04.
"Basically nothing has changed but it is taking too long," Holzhaeuser said. "It could have been sorted out earlier."
Heynckes has been linked with a return to Bayern Munich, the club he led to league titles in 1989 and 1990, following Bayern's decision to terminate Louis van Gaal's contract at the end of the season.
Holzhaeuser said: "To my knowledge there is nothing in this but if it is the case then so be it."
